suterA sold out crowd attended the 30th Annual Colorado Chapter of SCI’s dinner March 12th at the Crowne Plaza in Colorado Springs. The room was decorated with various taxidermy and a lively setting was perfect for the members and guests to enjoy a good dinner and conversation with friends, new and old.

Chapter President Doyle Worbington and the entire board of directors put on another stellar show for the attendees and more than $150,000 was raised for the continued efforts of the chapter that support conservation, education and humanitarian projects in the area. Auctioneer Darrell Neu did what he does best and kept the bidding at an all time high.

The Colorado Chapter was pleased to announce Dr. Scott Suter as the 2011 Chapter Member of the year. He and his wife Kim and their three children attended the dinner and accepted the award as a family. Scott didn’t have a clue that he was in the running and the family kept it a secret until the announcement was made. Thanks to Dr. Suter for all he does for our chapter and for SCI nationally.

Dr. Scott Suter, His wife Kim and children Bryce, Landon and Rachel
